Would you love to get into media but keep getting told you need experience? It can feel impossible to get your foot in the door, particularly if you don’t have any connections within the industry. Maybe you have a particular skill but are unsure of how it fits in to the workplace. That’s why we want to help you get your big break! No matter your age, education or background, we will be offering over 60 work experience opportunities a year to spend 4 days with us here at Viacom HQ. During that time, you will get to network and build connections, understand our brands and content, and gain an insight into what it’s like to work in a global media organisation.

Here's what our recent work experience team had to say:

Our Work Experience programme will help you gain an insight into the business areas that make us one of the world's leading entertainment companies.  To really get to grips with the role and our business, you will be matched with a buddy who will support you throughout your placement. Alongside completing role-relevant tasks, you will also be able to attend an employability workshop run by our HR team to help you to finish the placement in good stead for your future career!

We are offering work experience placements within all of our brands and departments across the company. Take a look at the list below to see where your interests lie, then apply for the one you feel is the best match for you.

We know that you might not have any experience so there is no need to upload a CV in your application.  If you are selected, we will be in touch to provide you with all the details you will need for your placement. We will provide you with an oyster card that you can keep, containing £10 of credit for each of the four days, as well as a £5 voucher per day to spend in our lovely office café.

Please note, unfortunately due to high volumes of applications we aren’t able to get back to you individually with feedback on your application.

If you have entered our competition to win a week's work experience with us, please read the full terms and conditions below before applying
